As the Look Development Lead for Environments on Trolls: Band Together, I oversaw the creation and implementation of tools and workflows for CG environments within a new cloud-based production pipeline (PipeX). Collaborating closely with technical artists, I built and maintained department pipelines and toolsets, tested and rolled out critical software updates, and ensured consistent adherence to department standards, including naming conventions, workflows, and technical checks. I spearheaded educational initiatives and created documentation for show-specific tools, templates, and systems, while also establishing and maintaining show templates and library materials. I facilitated cross-department discussions on workflows and best practices, acted as a liaison for asset deliveries, and provided technical and creative support to artists. Additionally, I served as the primary point of contact for all environment artists and supervised two sequences in collaboration with the show supervisor.

As the Environments lead I completed 30% of all environment work for the department. Some notable contributions include, Noodle Jungle, Vacay Island and the Vacay Cantina. For Noodle Jungle, a unique task was the application of significant variants of colors, patterns and combinations to create a vibrant and wild noodle landscape. For Vacay Island, I had to come up with a sand look that fit the scale of the trolls world that worked at multiple viewing distances. Utilizing a unique layered geometry scattering approach I was able to create a complex and colorful sand for the trolls to play in.
